Lonestar Mopar Fest 2018
Our friends Skylar and Dennis were back at it again last week as they headed out to Lonestar Mopar Fest 2018. The event takes place at Lonestar Motorsports Park in Sealy, TX and is a perfect pairing of Car Show and Track Racing while also offering a swap meet, vendors, and a food truck corral. Dennis drove his Dodge Challenger SRT out to the event to put in the All Mopar Car Show, and while they were there they took the opportunity to snap some fresh pics of Skylar with some of the fun builds.
Mojito Jeep Gets New Wheels - How Big Did We Go?
The Mojito Jeep gets a fresh set of aftermarket wheels! Since the moment we placed the order for our Mojito! Jeep JL, Kim and I began scouring the internet looking for the perfect set of wheels. Coming from more of a sports car background, bigger wheels are always better... We had to decide what was the optimal size for the look we wanted while still being usable off road. In the end, we picked up a set of 20x9 Grid Offroad GD03 Gloss Black Wheels and a set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A K02'S 325/60/20's. We love the look of the GD3's and the fact that we had not seen than on any other JL's yet. So we ordered up a set and mounted them on our JL Rubicon. We weighed the stock Rubicon Wheels and Tires at 76lbs each and the new setup weighed in at 110 lbs! We also show off our Arc Off Road Jeep Door Hangers. 2019 Bad Santa Contest
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and while most car models hibernate for the winter, ShockerRacing.com is encouraging models to get out there, feel the joy, and shoot for our #ShockerRacingBadSanta Contest. Every year on Instagram we encourage our favorite Car Girls to show off their costumes with some sick rides for the #ShockerRacingHalloween Contest. So why stop there? Three years ago we started another contest to keep everyones spirits high in the ‘off season’. Let ShockerRacing see you get your jingle bells, candy canes, and tinsel ready. You could get your chance to win some ShockerRacing gear! The contest is available to any ladies that want to join in on the holiday fun! Hit the link to see the rules.
Chey - Shoot 2
Â
It has only been five months since we released Chey's first ShockerRacing Girls shoot, but it seems like it has been far too long! Lucky for us, she is back with some new hotness in her ShockerRacing bootyshorts! Chey and her crew headed over to DV Werx in Spring, Texas to use as the backdrop for the shoot. "I love this location," Chey tells us, "I have shot here many times and will probably continue to do so. It is very simplistic with the modern colors since its a storage facility. I knew shooting here would make the red Hellcat color pop so much!"
Porsche Cayman 981 - How to Reset the TPMS System
We recently swapped out the hideous stock 18" wheels that came on our 2016 Porsche Cayman 981. We opted for a set of Gloss Black 19" O.Z Leggera HLT Wheels. The fronts are 19x8.5 and the rears are 19x10's. For tires we opted for a set of Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Positions. The front tires are 235/40/19's and in the back we went with the 285/35/19's because the 275's weren't quite wide enough for the 10" wide rear wheels. The 285's fit the wheels perfectly and give a much more aggresive look from behind. With this setup we opted for a full set of new Tire Pressure Sensors so that we could keep the stock wheel and tire set complete. After mounting the new set on our Cayman it was necessary to reset the TPMS so that it would connect to the new sensors. Hit the jump to see the video showing the process.
