Found: BMX's 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

A couple days ago I was contacted on our Facebook page by a guy named Henry saying, "Not sure if it matter, but I have one of the old vettes that used to run with y'all." Well Henry, it matters! We always love to hear how some of the cars that have left the crew are doing! Lets face it, too many of the ShockerRacing Member cars are currently in graveyards and we are always glad to hear that one of them is still alive and well! The car he was referring to was Brandon's 2002 Blacked out C5 Z06 and he had included a photo.

I had Henry email me some new photos of the car and wanted to hear a bit more about how things had been going with this black beauty since it had left the club. Along with sending me some amazing shots, Henry informed me that he has spent some time on the track with her and that one of the first changes he needed to make was to get rid of the Firehawk Wide Oval tires that BMX had been running and switched to Nitto NT05's. Other than that he hasn't made a lot of changes to the already amazing setup this car was running. He has added projector headlights and a fog horn just for fun! He threw an acc belt at the track one day so he added a katech tensioner and a slightly underdriven ATI damper.

When Henry was living in Louisiana he had spent quite a bit of time at the track. He tells us that he has now relocated to Houston and needs to figure out the Texas car scene. I know there is a huge car scene out there in Houston so if you see this car running around the streets flag him down and get him back out to the track! This Vette has seen AutoX, Road Racing and runs 11.0's at the drag strip... she was born to race and has spent her life doing it and doing it well!
