The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was unveiled this morning at the NAIAS in Detroit Michigan. This unveiling confirmed that the long awaited C7 Z06 will have a Supercharged LT4 Engine making 625HP and 635TQ. They also announced that it will be the first Z06 to offer a removable Carbon Fiber Roof Panel! It will also be offered with the 7 Speed Manual Transmission or with an Optional New GM Designed 8 Speed Automatic Transmission!

GM left us wanting more as they did not go into details regarding pricing, 0-60mph times, track or 1/4 mile times! Forbes expects this car to start in the $70k range but my guess is going to be low $90k like the ZR1's were when they were released.

We expect to see 3 different levels of Aerodynamic Downforce available. The base Z06, the Carbon Fiber and Z07 models will have more aerodynamic downforce body parts.
